Q: What should I do if a database or article link is not working?

Broken, expired, or outdated links can sometimes prevent access to resources. 


Try these steps:

  1. Access the resource through the library website instead of a bookmarked link.
  2. Search for the database using the A-Z Database List.
  3. Use the Discovery tool to search for the resource title.
  4. Refresh the page and try again.
  5. Try another browser or device.
  6. Avoid using multiple tabs in the same database session.
  7. Disable browser extensions temporarily if pages are not loading correctly.

  • The broken link
  • The database or resource name
  • Any error messages you receive 
  • A screenshot if possible
