Q: How do I save searches and create RSS feeds from EBSCOhost databases?

With alerts, you can tell our databases to send you new material on your topic as it becomes available.

You begin by signing up for an account in the database. Then, create a search for the type of material you want-- new issues of a journal, for example, or new articles with a particular subject heading. You can then save the search and tell the database to either email you updates or create an RSS feed which you can access through an RSS reader, such as Feedly or Reeder.

For detailed steps, EBSCOhost provides the tutorials below on creating alerts and RSS feeds on their databases:

Other databases have similar tutorials in their respective Help pages.
