How do I find information about tests, measures, and assessments?

Find a test review with detailed evaluation and background information. Also find primary sources (studies) that implement the test or measure.

I. Test Info

Mental Measurements Yearbook with Tests in Print - Use this database to find information about tests and measures such as reviews, norms, validity and reliability, and other psychometric properties. Just enter the name, subject, or other information about the test in the search box.

We also have print versions of the database, current up to a few years ago, in the Reference Collection:

II. Studies

To find studies that used a particular test or measure, try searching our psychology and health databases.  

PsycInfo & PsycArticles - Type the test name (ex. "Family Assessment Measure-III") in the "Tests & Measures" box under "Limit Your Results" to limit your search to studies that used that particular test. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CINAHL Plus with Full Text - Type the test name (ex. "Family Assessment Measure-III") in the search box and select the "Instrumentation" field from the drop-down menu next to the search box to limit your results to studies that used that test.
